Wild Fermentation Workshop

During our 7 hour, one-day, introduction to "Wild Fermentation" course you will learn how to use and cultivate organisms that surround you everyday.  Together, we will learn how to utilize local yeast in the air to make sourdough bread and ginger beer as well use Lactic Acid Bacteria that is naturally present on all organic substrates to make pickles and sauerkraut.  Finally, we will show you how to turn aging alcohol sugars into raw vinegar using Acetobacter bacteria that is present in the air.

The cost for the day-long course, probiotic lunch, food/drink samples, info/recipe packets, a take home jar of sauerkraut that you make, and an e-book is Q350.
